The Greenwood is a historic drinking and dining institution, located on Blue Street in the heart of North Sydney. Originally built in 1878 as a church and later used as a school, The Greenwood Hotel became a popular destination in 1992 when it was bought and turned into a pub.

The Greenwood has four flexible spaces. These include the Chapel and Lounge bar as interiors spaces and the Southern and Northern Courtyards. The Chapel is the Greenwood Hotel’s largest interior space located in the Eastern wing of the building. This wide, rectangular space features polished floorboards, a cathedral ceiling, rafters, tall arched windows and has multiple access points including entry to both our Southern and Northern courtyards. Ideally suited to corporate events, launches, large celebrations and birthdays, the Chapel can comfortably accommodate a dance floor space as well as seats and tables.
